Abstract:

PURPOSE: To intend to improve the withstand voltage properties of electric wire and prevent fusing and drop of the wire at thunderbolt time, by winding semi-conductive reinforcing string material on the electric wire for a constant length of both sides from fixed point of insulator in spiral state.

CONSTITUTION: Aerial insulated distribution line 4 is mounted on an insulator 3 at a transverse fixture 2 which is fixed on an electric pole 1, and semi-conductive reinforcing string material 5 is wound on the wire for a constant length of both sides from the fixed point of insulator 3 of insulated distribution line 4 in sprial state. As this semi-conductive reinforcing string material 5, the material in which resin for reinforcement is impregnated in a core material in which organic fibers such as glass fiber and the like for improvement of arc proof properties are twisted together, semi-conductive enamel resin and etc. are coated on this and is formed in spiral state is used.
