Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make the device compact much more, and enhance the operating performance of the device.
SOLUTION: The tilt cylinder device is equipped with a cylinder unit 18 which is formed out of an inner side cylinder 23, and of outer side cylinder 24, and has the opening parts of both the cylinders blocked by rod guides 25 and 26, a piston 19 which is connected with one end of a piston rod 28 penetrated through the rod guide, and is disposed in the inside of the inner side cylinder in such a way as to be freely slid, a reservoir chamber 20 which is formed between the inner side cylinder and the outer side cylinder, and is provided with an oil chamber 33, and with a gas chamber 34, a communication passage 21 which is formed in the rod guide, and communicates a rod side chamber 30A with the oil chamber of the reservoir chamber through a conduit 42 disposed in the reservoir chamber, and with a switch-over valve 22 which is disposed to the rod guide, and make change-over for the communication passage between communication and isolation by an external operation And when the communication passage is in operation, the gas pressure of the gas chamber of the reservoir chamber pushes the rod outside out of the cylinder unit, and the outboad motor is thereby tilted up.
