Title:
TIMBER HEAT TREATING FURNACE BY FAR INFRARED BREEDING
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP3283129
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:

PURPOSE: To shorten a performing time of a necessary temperature to remove growing stress of a timber and to reduce a drying cost by placing porous ceramics, volcanic lava, etc., on an upper part of a burner for burning wood-based fuel through a grate, red-heating it, and generating a far infrared ray.
CONSTITUTION: A rear door 15 of a heating room 27 is opened, timbers 16 stacked in a crosspiece frame state on a truck 19 are contained, the door is then closed, wood-based fuel 2 is ignited and burnt while rotating a ventilating fan 13 thereby to red-heat ceramics 5, etc., on a grate 4. Then, hot air containing much far infrared ray is fed to the room 27 through gaps of the ceramics 23, etc., in a far infrared breeding room 22 via an air duct 6. Ceramic material 23 for the far infrared breeding efficiently generates far infrared rays, hence efficiently radiate it to the timbers 16 to be treated, thereby heat treating the timbers. In this case, the fuel is supplied or an air suction port 1 is switched while observing a temperature sensor 27 inserted into a furnace, and a temperature of the room 27 is maintained in a desired temperature range.
