Abstract:
PURPOSE:To select a correcting object without fail by selecting a correcting object based on a coordinate value and identifying and displaying the selected correcting object in a layout correcting device. CONSTITUTION:In a memory device 1, a pattern layout information table 11, a character layout information table 12, a line drawing layout information table 13 and a screen tint layout information table 14 are held. A retrieving device 4 retrieves one layout object from the layout information tables in the memory device 1 based on the coordinate value, classification and next candidate instruction inputted to a correcting input device 3. An identifying displaying device 5 gives the instruction to classify the layout object from other layout object and display it to a display 2. A table correcting device 6 changes area information concerning the layout object retrieved by the retrieving device 4 based on the correcting instruction inputted to the correction input device 3.
