PURPOSE: To simplify the system not needing a synchronization means by allowing each transmitter to send a signal in a different signal transmission pattern and utilizing a pause period of other transmitters so as to allow a receiver to receive a single signal thereby recognizing the single signal.
CONSTITUTION: Each of transmitters 12 (12-1,12-2,..., 12-n) sends a signal asynchronously to a receiver 11 in a signal transmission pattern specific to each transmitter 12 combined with a signal transmission period and a signal transmission pause period. The signal sent from each transmitter 12 is a unit signal having a prescribed common transmission time as to each transmitter 12 and all information to be sent is included in the unit signal. The transmission pattern of each transmitter 12 is provided alternately with a transmission period for an integer multiple of consecutive transmission of the unit signal different from each transmitter with each other and a pause period whose length is nearly equal to that of the transmission period. On the other hand, the receiver 11 receives signals from each transmitter 12 simultaneously and does not process as signals when two signals or over are simultaneously received but recognizes the signal when the single signal is received.
