Abstract:
The present invention relates to a method and an apparatus for removing the water from dripping wet shredded plastic film. To do so, this material is fed to a conical extruder. At the outlet of the extruder there is a cross-sectional constriction, through which the material is forced. The heat produced thereby is used for drying.
