Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make a screen display clear by making it possible to display the second display condition of a lower function in a part of the first display condition and select the inferior function by one operating key of multiple operating keys when an upper function is selected while the first display condition. SOLUTION: During display in the first display condition, when one function is selected by an operating key, the second display condition is superimposed on a part of the first display condition, making displayed lower functions selectable by the operating key. That is, when the basic, application, or special copy screen is selected by one of operation mode selection keys 308 to 310, a corresponding LED of LEDs 311 to 313 turns on, and copying is performed by a desired function only by cascade keys 319-1 to 319-5 and ten keys 307 to 310. For example, when an information key 302 is operated and an information code is entered by ten keys 307, a screen describing copy modes is displayed.
