Abstract:
PURPOSE:To reduce the space or an apparatus and manufacturing cost by leading out the exhaust gas from each stage of a printing press by one gathering exhaust duct to perform the heat exchange thereof with a heating medium by a heat exchanger on an exhaust side and recirculating the heating medium between the heat exchanger on the exhaust side and that on an air supply side. CONSTITUTION:The open air passes through the respective stages 12A -12J of a multistage printing press 12, the drying chambers of after-dryers 12A-24D, divided exhaust ducts 14A-14J and 25A-25D and a gathering exhaust duct 14 to be discharged to the outside by an exhaust fan 10. The high temp. exhaust gas from the exhaust fan 10 is discharged to the outside through a heat exchanger 18 on the exhaust side. Since a heating medium is recirculated to the heat exchanger 18 on the exhaust side, the high temp. exhaust gas is subjected to the heat exchange with the heating medium while the heating medium is heated to be recirculated through a closed loop passing through the heat exchangers 20A-20D on an air supply side to return to the heat exchanger 18 on the exhaust side. In this loop, the heating medium is subjected to the heat exchange with the open air sucked from gathering air supply ducts 16A-16D to preheat the supplied air.
