PURPOSE: To provide a heat transfer image receiving sheet in which contact preventive properties between image receiving sheets and conveying properties in a printer are improved without damaging a receiving layer surface.

CONSTITUTION: A heat transfer image receiving sheet has a receiving layer on one side surface of a base material sheet and a rear surface layer having resin and filler on the other side surface in such a manner that the filler in the rear surface layer is not exposed on the front surface, but covered with resin.
