Abstract:
A permanent magnet rotor wherein a rotor yoke (2) of a rotor (1) is constituted by a number of laminated steel sheets (4, 14, 24, 34, 44) and has on its periphery 2n (n is a positive integer) magnetic poles (5) and wherein a slot (6) is provided substantially equidistantly from a rotating shaft hole (7) in a base portion of every or every other magnetic pole, and wherein a field permanent magnet (3) is inserted into the slot, and a method for producing the same permanent magnet rotor. The safety and reliability of the permanent magnet rotor is improved by providing a construction to prevent the field permanent magnet from falling off or applying a surface treatment onto the field permanent magnet. In addition, an improved production process can provide the simplification of the process and shortening of production time.
