Abstract:
PURPOSE:To obtain an electrolyte having excellent stability to heat, by forming a cross-linking agent out of a mixture consisting at least one kind of derivative of methylene-diphenylene-diisocyanate, and the methylene-diphenylene- diisocyanate or out of another mixture consisting of derivatives of not less than two different kinds of the methylene-diphenylene-diisocyanate. CONSTITUTION:A high polymer solid state electrolyte has multifunctional polyester containing a solt of alkali metal or alkaline earth metal and having a unit of random copolymeric structure of ethylene oxide and propylene oxide cross- linked by a cross-linking agent made of isocyanate system materials. This cross-linking agent is formed out of a mixture consisting at least one kind of derivative of methylene-diphenylene-diisocyanate, and the methylene- diphenylene-diisocyanate or out of another mixture consisting of derivatives of not less than two different kinds of the methylene-diphenylene-diisocyanate. Thus, an electrolyte of high ionic conductivity can be obtained with excellent stability to heat at room temperature or higher temperatures.
