PURPOSE: To separte recording paper after transfer easily and surely in an image recorder of transfer type using an endless beltlike recording medium by decreasing the radius of curving of the recording medium.

CONSTITUTION: In order to prevent the deflection of a roller 6 of a small diameter which guides the conveying of a recording medium 2 by the tension of said roller 6 and the medium 2, a roller pair consisting of said roller and an auxiliary roller 7 of a larger diameter which revolves in abutment on the inner side of said roller is provided to decrease the radius of curving of the medium 2, whereby the recording paper 3 after the transfer is separated easily from the surface of the medium 2 on accout of its own elasticity.
