Title:
LOW-MELTING POINT GLASS FINE POWDER, COMPOSITE OF THE SAME WITH GLASS FIBER AND PRODUCTION OF GLASS PRODUCT HAVING DECORATIVE PATTERN
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JPH082938
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

PURPOSE: To obtain a glass product having a decorative pattern by together fusing a composite obtained by permeating low melting glass fine powder containing PbO in glass fine powder into a glass fiber and a base glass.

CONSTITUTION: Glass fine powder consisting essentially of SiO2 is blended and mixed with PbO under stirring so as to become 30-50wt.% PbO content to provide the objective low-melting point glass fine powder. Then, low-melting point glass fine powder is permeated into glass fiber to provide the objective composite of glass fine powder with glass fiber. The composite is put on the surface of base glass and these materials are baked at 700-800°C so as to fuse these materials to provide the objective glass product having a decorative pattern. The product can also be obtained by putting the composite between two raw glass sheets and together fusing these materials.
