Abstract:
PURPOSE:To obtain the subject cloth, excellent in drapeability, interlayer strength, etc., of prepreg formed products without disturbing orientation of weaving yarns and suitable for molding CFRP by alternately entangling auxiliary yarns with a weaving yarn group of carbon fiber extended in the direction at an specific angle. CONSTITUTION:The objective cloth obtained by extending (A) weaving yarns (a1), (a2) and (a3) and (b1), (b2) and (b3) at 80-100 deg. angle and entangling (B) 1-4 auxiliary yarns of glass fiber, aramide fiber, etc., in sets with weaving yarns (c1), (c2) and (c3) so as to provide 10-30mm set pitch and (1/15)-(1/5) ratio of cross-sectional area of the component (B) to that of the component (A).
