Title:
CURE OF JOINT FILLED WITH PHOTOCURABLE RESIN
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JPS6026075
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

PURPOSE: To bond with no slippage between two members, by curing a photocurable resin with reflected light from a reflector provided in the surroundings on both sides of an uncured photocurable resin between the members.

CONSTITUTION: A tubular frame 2 is placed at the bottom of an optical fiber 4 vertically fixed with a holding member 6 and in the surroundings of a photoelectric element 1 positioned right under the optical fiber 4. Two planar reflectors 7 are opposed in a direction perpendicular to each other on both sides of the tubular frame 2 filled with a photocurable resin 3. The photocurable resin 3 cured with reflected light which is caused by reflection of parallel light 5 emitted from an upper light source by the reflectors 7. Since the light emitted to the resin layer uniformly without the shadow of the holding member 6 causes the resin to cure simultaneously and evenly, no slippage between members by tension while curing occurs. Therefore, it is capable of bonding without slippage between the photoelectric element and the optical axis of the optical fiber.
