The Q output H of the holding circuit 132 is given to a start prizewinning storage circuit 164 as down count input, and the count value of an up-down counter is decreased by 1. For example, if three pinballs are inputted in succession to the specific prizewinning port when an opening/ closing plate is opened, three H pulses are given to the start prizewinning storage circuit 164 from a start prizewinning circuit 142 through a NAND gate 172, the count value of the circuit 164 becomes '3', and the count value is displayed on a start prizewinning storage display 7 segment LED 170.
