Title:
LAMINATED GLASS REFLECTING HEAT RADIATION
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JPS589850
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

PURPOSE: To obtain laminated glass reflecting thermal radiation having improved transparency and appearance, by using a film of PVA or polyamide coated with a metal or metal oxide as a film to be sandwiched by two middle layers which are put between two sheet of inorganic glass.

CONSTITUTION: The two sheets of inorganic glass 1 and 1 having a thickness of about 2.0W3.0mm, the middle layers 2 and 2 of polyvinyl butyral having a thickness of about 0.3W0.8mm, and the heat radiation-reflecting film 3 sandwiched between them are subjected to thermocompression bonding at about 100W150°C at a pressure of about 9W20kg/cm2 to give laminated glass reflecting heat radiation. The use of a film of PVA or polyamide having a thickness of about 10W 100μm, coated with at least one heat radiation-reflecting component in a thin film state of a metal or metal oxide such as gold, silver, titanium oxide, copper oxide, etc. as the heat radiation-reflecting film 3 provides the laminated glass reflecting heat radiation having improved transparency and appearance, without causing the crease in the heat radiation-reflecting film 3.
