PURPOSE: To enable demodulation of FM stereo broadcasting and TV multivoice broadcasting by using an FM stereo demodulation circuit in common for a main sound demodulation circuit.

CONSTITUTION: When an FM stereo signal is inputted to an FM multiplex circuit 5 of an FM stereo demodulation circuit while receiving FM stereo, the circuit 5 detects a pilot signal and separates aural signals of left L and right R. These signals passes through each de-emphasis circuit 6 and LPF 7, and outputted as left and right channel signals. When receiving multivoice broadcasting, the signals are inputted to a circuit 1 and a sub-aural signal demodulation circuit 2A. Main aural signal L+R is extracted from the circuit 1, and sub-aural signal L-R is extracted from the circuit 2A. The main and sub aural signals are operated in a matrix circuit 3 and aural signals of left and right channels are outputted.
