Abstract:
Process for producing diaminoalkane derivatives of general formula (I) where R1? is an acyl residue or sulfonyl residue, R2? represents an alkyl group with up to 6 carbon atoms and possibly substituted by a hydroxy group, a lower alkanoyl group, a carboxyl group, a lower alkoxycarbonyl group or a benzyloxycarbonyl group; a phenyl group possibly substituted by a lower alkanoyloxy group or a benzoyloxy group, a 3-indolylmethyl group possibly substituted by a lower alkanoyloxy group or a benzoyloxy group, or a 4-imidazolylmethyl group, R3? is a hydrogen atom or an alkyl group with up to 6 carbon atoms and X and Y represent together a carbonyl group or X is a hydrogen atom and Y is a hydrogen atom, a halogen atom, an alkoxycarbonyl group having up to 6 carbon atoms in the alkyl residue or an acyl group. The process described is characterized in that a content of general formula (II), in which R1?, R2? and R3? have the above-mentioned meanings, is oxidized, transposed and possibly converted again electrochemically in the presence of electrolytes containing halide ions, or by means of chlorine or bromine in the presence of alkaline metal bases.
