Title:
MICROWAVE TRANSMITTER
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JPS5949025
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

PURPOSE: To obtain a simple and economical microwave transmitter capable of stable working, by branching a part of a burst type input intermediate frequency signal, and sampling and holding the wave detecting signal after extracting a timing signal of a burst signal out of the branched intermediate frequency signal to reduce the number of input signals of the transmitter to only one, and to eliminate the use of a timing reference signal.

CONSTITUTION: An input terminal 1 for intermediate frequency signal is connected to a frequency mixing circuit 2 via a signal branching circuit 11. The branched output of the circuit 11 is applied to a burst timing circuit 12, and the output of the circuit 12 is connected to a sampling/holding circuit 9 which is controlled by a wave detecting circuit 6. The burst timing signal necessary for the circuit 9 is extracted and reproduced from the intermediate frequency signal arriving at the terminal 1 through a burst timing circuit 12. Therefore, it is not needed to receive individually a timing signal from a device at the preceding stage.
