PURPOSE: To improve the whiteness in the appearance of a golf ball and the weather resistance by coating a golf ball mainly consisting of an ionomer resin with a coating material in which specified amounts of blue pigment and red pigment are blended in a white coating material.

CONSTITUTION: In a golf ball in which a golf ball body having a cover mainly consisting of an ionomer resin is coated with a white coating material, the coating material layer is formed of one or more white coating material layers and one or more clear layers, the white pigment component in the white coating material is 3-15wt.% to the film solid component 100, 0.0005-0.025wt.% of blue pigment and 0.001-0.010wt.% of red pigment are contained therein, and the blue pigment/red pigment ratio is 0.1-2.0.
