PURPOSE: To ensure reproducibility while changing fixing force to the fixing surface of a lead frame and facilitating setting work by varying the quantity of a spring expanded and contracted in the frame fixing force.

CONSTITUTION: A frame feeder positions and fixes a lead frame 1 carried in by a carrying mechanism 5 onto a heating stage 3a through a frame hold-down 2, and a moving block 11 guided by a fixing block 12 and elevated and lowered is driven by a motor 13 and a cam 14 regarding the quantity of the expansion and contraction of a coil spring 10 engaged with a frame fixing unit 9 pushing the frame hold-down 2. A bonding base 3 and the frame fixing unit 9 are driven by cams 8, 17, which are made eccentric and supported pivotally, and the lead frame 1 is held by the frame hold-don 2 and the heating stage 3a, thus varying fixing force to the lead frame 1.
