Abstract:
PURPOSE: To prevent a sleeve holder for an optical connector from slipping out of a housing or coming out of a locking piece and a split sleeve from being broken caused by the increase of the insertion force of a ferrule by always holding the sleeve holder in a non-load state with the locking piece of the housing.
CONSTITUTION: A cylindrical slider 4 is interposed in a cylindrical main body 2 and held in the housing so that it can freely slide in an axial direction. The split sleeve 11 for inserting and holding the ferrule is interposed in a cylinder 3 and the slider 4 coaxially fitted and fixed with the main body 2 so as to slide in the axial direction together with the slider 4 by specified stroke L3.
