PURPOSE: To find even a potential fault position of the hot water piping of a building by placing the water in the piping in a temperature fluctuation and a fluid state for the simulation of actual use prior to the interior finishing construction of the building.
CONSTITUTION: The outlet pipe 5 and intake pipe 6 of an electric calorifier 2 are connected to both ends of the hot water piping 4 prior to the interior finishing construction of a specific section of the building after piping construction. A pump 8 for hot water circulation is interposed in the outlet pipe 5 and a cold/ hot selector valve V1 consisting of a cross valve driven by a motor M is provided to the connection part between a feed water pipe 9 and the outlet pipe 5. This device is used to flow city of normal temperature and hot water to the hot water piping 4 alternately at a specific period; and oscillations by the flow in the hot water piping 4 are caused and heat shrinkage due to fluctuations of the temperature of the hot water piping 4 is repeated, so the fatigue at a potential fault part of the joint part is accelerated to cause a water leak. Thus, the fault point is found before the interior finishing construction of the building.
