Abstract:

PURPOSE: To plasmid vector capable of manifesting the gene in a bacterial cell belonging to Escherichia genus or Bacillus genus, and having a plasmid DNA chain containing a DNA sequence exhibiting specific action in a cell of Bacillus genus and Escherichia genus.

CONSTITUTION: A plasmid vector containing, in the plasmid DNA chain, (a) a DNA sequence capable of self-replicating in the bacterial cell of Bacillus genus, (b) a DNA sequence capable of self-replicating in the bacterial cell of Escherichia genus, (c) a DNA sequence acting as a promoter to both of the bacteria belonging to Bacillus genus and Escherichia genus, and (d) a DNA sequence acting as a liposome-bonding site to both of the bacteria belonging to Bacillus genus and Escherichia genus. The DNA sequence acting as the liposome bonding site is AGGAGGT, AGGAGG, AGGAG, GGAGGT, GAGGT and GGAGG.
