PURPOSE: To obtain powder rubber soluble in organic solvents by a method in which a mixture of a rubber latex and a water-soluble high polymer with carboxyl groups is dropped to a higher amine salt aqueous solution under an acidiulated condition, a synthetic resin emulsion is added to the reaction system, and the mixture is orderly treated with a bad solvent for rubber and an alkali.
CONSTITUTION: A mixture of a rubber latex and a water-soluble high polymer with carboxyl groups (e.g., sodium carboxymethyl cellulose, etc.) is dropwise added to an aqueous solution of a high amine salt (e.g., polyoxyethylene-beef tallow-alkylpropylene diamine acetate, etc.), and a synthetic resin (e.g., polystyrere, etc.) emulsion is added to the reaction system to obtain powder rubber slurry. The saurry or wetted powder rubber obtained from the slurry is treated with a water-miscible bad solvent for rubber and then alkalized to obtain an objective powder rubber soluble in organic solvents.
