PURPOSE: To improve the usage efficiency of a hardware by substituting a bus between processors and a transfer program for a common bus function for a data input/output.
CONSTITUTION: Processor elements 11-1n are equipped with the program for a data transfer besides a normal arithmetic program, and when fetching picture element data, the respective processor elements 11-1n output the data received from the next processor element to the opposite side processor element through buses 110-11n between processors by the operation of the program for the data transfer. When this operation is repeated at prescribed times, the picture element data necessary for each processor element arranged one-dimensionally are fetched. After that, by the operation of an arithmetic process program, each processor element executes an arithmetic process to the fetched data. Thus, the common bus for the data input/output are not needed.
