Abstract:
PURPOSE:To enhance efficiency of surface treating work, by a method wherein a freely openable and closable door having a heat insulating material adhered to the back surface thereof is provided to the upper part of a treating tank and the opening and closing of the door and the placing and detachment of the heat insulating material with respect to a water filled liquid level are simultaneously performed. CONSTITUTION:When an object to be treated subjected to painting treatment with a predetermined color is washed with hot water in a hot water washing tank 1, a lift mechanism is operated to draw up doors 10, 10 provided to the sides of second rollers 22, 22. At this time, first rollers 21, 21 and the second rollers 22, 22 are respectively guided by first rails 23, 23 and second rails 24, 24 and the doors 10, 10 are opened in such a shape that the upper parts thereof are widely opened while the upper surfaces 60, 60 thereof are contacted with fixed guides 53, 53 to form inclined surfaces. In the next step, carrier bars 5, 5 suspending the object to be treated are immersed in the tank 1 to be washed by hot water, and foreign matters and the treating liquid are flooded to the side trough 8 from a weir plate 9. When washing due to hot water is finished, the bars 5, 5 are raised by a conveyor apparatus to be drawn up from the tank 1 and the sides of the rollers 22, 22 are fallen to close the doors 10, 10 while a heat insulating material 11 is brought into contact with the tank liquid level 12 to insulate the hot water in said tank 1.
