Abstract:

PURPOSE: To fabricate a transparent mark not obstructing a visual field, by arranging a jig having a shielding member to the surface of a transparent member having a coating applied thereto to form the transparent mark based on a non- coating part.

CONSTITUTION: On the front surface of a transparent member, for example, a spectacle lens 4, a jig 1 having a shielding member 3, for example, assuming the shape of an alphabet letter is arranged while a transparent thin coating film is applied to the lens 4 and, thereafter, the jig 1 is detached to form an objective transparent alphabet letter due to a non-coating part on the surface of the lens 4.

USE: The obtained mark applied member is used as the cassette lid of a cassette tape recorder and the like.
