Title:
SILVER HALIDE PHOTOSENSITIVE MATERIAL
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JPS6031134
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

PURPOSE: To obtain a photosensitive material superior not only in adhension and dimensional stability of a hydrophilic colloidal layer but also in contrast and the effect of restraining reduction speed, by incorporating a specified polymer latex and one of tetrazolium salts in said colloidal layer in combination.

CONSTITUTION: A polymer latex contained in at least one of hydrophilic colloidal layers contains units of at least one monomer selected from methyl acrylate, methyl methacrylate, and ethyl acrylate in an amt. of ≥30wt% and 0.05W5g per 1g of the dry weight of the hydrophilic colloid. Each of tetrazolium salts is a compd. consisting of the cationic moiety including the tetrazolium nucleus and the anionic moiety combined with it or a compd. having a tetrazolium nucleus forming an intramolecular salt, and they are used in the range of 0.0001W10mol per mole of silver halide.
