PURPOSE: To prevent a device from stain with waste toner, by selectively changing opening directions of a discharging member provided where the carried waste toner is discharged.

CONSTITUTION: The waste toner discharging member 4 attached rotatably on a waste toner processing device 2 has a knob 6 for operation. The waste toner accumulated in the processing device 2 is stored in a waste toner container 5 by a screw conveyor through the opening 4a of the discharging member 4. When the otner is stored sufficiently in the container, the knob 6 is gripped to turn the discharging member 4 and the container 5 is taken out with the opening part 4a up. Consequently, remaining toner sticking to the circumference of the opening part never stains the device and when the discharging member is turned, the toner is not applied with pressure, so the device is used for a long period without clogging the opening part 4a with the sticking toner.
