Title:
DETECTOR OF LINEAR PICTURE
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JPS5947679
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

PURPOSE: To realize an input point having an area and to perform the transmission and the display for a communicating device of handwritten linear picture, by detecting all lattice points obtained by a scan.

CONSTITUTION: For an input plate 1, no contact is secured between X and Y electrode line groups 22 and 21 when no pressure is applied by an input. When the pressure of the input is applied, some of groups 22 have contacts with some of groups 21 respectively. Then X and Y scanners 2 and 3 perform a local scan to linear electrodes X1WXn and Y1WYn. Therefore a coordinate detecting circuit 6 can detect all position coordinates of the lattice points having the inputs with just one time of the local scan. Thus it is possible to detect an input form despite of the expansion of an input point.
