Title:
REVOLUTION SPEED CONTROLLING DEVICE FOR GENERATOR
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JPS5822600
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:
PURPOSE:To lighten the load of battery as well as to reduce the cost of fuel consumed in the idle running of the titled generator by a method wherein the speed of revolution of the generator is increased or decreased in accordance with the powder consumption when the idling operation is performed. CONSTITUTION:The output of the generator 15, which is driven by an engine, is applied to a battery 16 and an electrical load 17. A comparator 20 outputs a signal when the current consumption of the electrical load 17, which will be detected by a galvanometer 19, becomes larger than the amount of generated power, which will be detected by a galvanometer 18. A throttle valve switch 24 is in a conductive status when the throttle valve 23 of an air suction path 22 is closed almost completely, and outputs an idling status detection signal. The flow rate controlling valve 26, which is provided on a bypass path 25, is opened and the revolution number of the engine is increased by a controller 21 when a signal is given from the comparator 20 and the throttling valve 24.
