Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent a detection error of seating on a toilet seat with a simple structure.SOLUTION: A seating detection device for a toilet seat comprises: a movement member for supporting a rotary shaft of a toilet seat and capable of moving vertically; an energization member for energizing the movement member upward; detection means for detecting downward movement of the movement member; a protrusion part which is provided to rotate in an integrated manner with the rotary shaft and is protruded outward of a radial direction in a part of a peripheral direction; and a contact regulation part which is provided to contact the protrusion part when the rotation position of the rotary shaft is in a prescribed range corresponding to an open state of the toilet seat for regulating downward movement of the movement member. therefore, in the open state of the toilet seat, even when downward force acts on the rotary shaft, downward movement of the movement member is regulated for preventing detection by the detection means, so that, a detection error of seating on the toilet seat can be prevented.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4
