Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a photoreactive and decolorable one-dimensional color toner for printing by an electrophotographic method capable of forming full- color images with high resolution.
SOLUTION: This toner is a photoreactive one-dimensional color toner for printing by the electrophotographic method contg. ≥3 kinds of dye component particles in which ≥3 kinds of decolorable dyes and decoloring agents corresponding to the respective dyes are adjacently incorporated. The toner forms the full-color image by the decoloration of the decolorable dyes of the irradiated parts by irradiation with light of the wavelength of the absorption wavelength regions of the respective decoloring agents. Such toner is produced by polymerizing a mixture contg. the decolorable dyes, decoloring agents and thermoplastic resin formable monomers to respectively prepare the dye component particles, then kneading the respective dye component particles in combination in a thermoplastic resin which is the same as the thermoplastic resin described above or different therefrom and pulverizing the mixture.
