To provide a polymerized toner having stable charging property and excellent storage property (blocking resistance), while having favorable fixability.
The toner for electrostatic latent image development comprises toner particles for electrostatic latent image development, in which a colorant and a positive charge controlling agent are dispersed in a multilayer structure binder resin comprising at least two layers of an inner layer core portion and an outer layer shell portion, and which is characterized in that: (1) a solubility parameter SP (SPs) of the resin in the outer layer shell portion is 9.2 to 9.5, a solubility parameter SP (SPc) of the resin in the inner layer core portion is ≤9.15, and the glass transition points (Tg) of resins in the outer layer shell portion and in the inner layer core portion are both ≤130°C; and (2) the positive charge controlling agent is a styrene-acrylic resin having a quaternary ammonium salt-containing functional group.
