Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To securely fix a tool holder to a spindle while restraining occurrence of wind noise, in a tool clamp mechanism.SOLUTION: A tool holder 2 with a tool T fixed thereto is attached to the leading end of a spindle 1. A spindle-side through-hole 1b is formed through the leading end of the spindle 1, and a holder-side through-hole 3 is provided in the basal end of the tool holder 2 in correspondence with this spindle-side through-hole 1b. A clamp bolt 10 is inserted in the spindle-side through-hole 1b and the holder-side through-hole 3. Counter-bore parts are respectively formed in a pair of peripheral edges of the spindle-side through-hole 1b, and clamp nuts 11, 12 are fitted in these counter-bore parts so as to be continuous with the peripheral edge.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
