PURPOSE: To effectively prevent the crack, etc., of an insulator based on a bending moment by a load, etc., by fitting a columnar body of the insulator to the terminal of the arm of a manipurator.
CONSTITUTION: A tool fixture is surely executed, because of a tool fixing function being achieved with a projection 24 for fixing a tool driven by a pneumatic or hydraulic actuator 25 incorporated in the device being fitted into the corresponding hole of the tool. In the stat of this tool being fixed, the pipe line which feeds the air pressure or oil pressure for actuating the tool is connected at the tool side and manipulator side via the pipe line in a tool fitting device. Yet, the generation of the failure of a crack, etc., on the insulator 4 is prevented, as the result of the bending moment applied on the insulator 4 by the loads of machines and materials, etc., in the case of holding a machine, etc., with the tool fitted to an arm 1 being reduced, because of the insulator 4 being fitted to the terminal of the arm 1 of the manipulator.
