PURPOSE: To form a train diagram efficiently by calculating the required time of a train route on the basis of those of train data, time data and stoppage time data corresponding to the train route and a train operating pattern, storing it, and depicting a train line.
CONSTITUTION: A computer 30 detects those of time data conformed to a condition inputted at each adjacent station between a starting station and a terminal station, calculating the total operation time, and it calculates a total stoppage time according to all passing-stopping conditions of a model train specified. In addition, these data are totaled, calculating the required operation time, and arrival-departure hours of each station are calculated on the basis of the designated starting or terminating hours. Further, operation time at each adjacent station, total operation time, standard stoppage time at each station, total stoppage time, required operation time and arrival-departure hours at each station are all stored in memory as diagram data. In succession, the computer 30 displays a train line made up of connecting both departure and arrival time points at respective stations in order with a straight line on a diagram scope of a cathode-ray tube 40.
