Title:
TRANCEIVER
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP3869343
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a tranceiver capable of applying a sufficiently large potential to a signal line.
SOLUTION: The transceiver 1 which transmits information according to an electric field induced in a living body 12 as a medium for electric field transmission has a transmission-side signal electrode 10 provided on the living body 12 across an insulator 11, and a ground electrode 7. Further, a signal generator 5 which generates and applies a voltage signal, having a potential difference from the ground electrode 7 and corresponding to information, to the transmission-side signal electrode 10 to induce an electric field corresponding to the voltage signal in the living body 12 through the transmission-side signal electrode 10, a ground line 6 and a signal line 9, and a dielectric 8 which surrounds the ground electrode 7 for shielding, are included. Thus, the ground electrode on which the potential difference of a voltage signal generated by the signal generating means is based is surrounded with the dielectric member and shielded, so that the intensity of an electric field nearby the ground electrode decreases to reduce a variation in potential of the ground electrode.
