To provide a transfer foil having a relief structure such as a hologram and a diffraction grating and hardly generating crazing or chipping in a thermal printer or the like, and an image forming product using it.
Provided are a transfer foil exhibiting good shape imparting properties of a relief structure and good plate wear of a shape imparting stamper even in the case of a relief forming layer of high heat resistant materials, and exhibiting good transfer properties (printability) of a high resolution image even in the case of transfer by means of a thermal printer, etc., and an image forming product using it, characterized in that the transfer foil comprises a substrate 11, a release layer 13, a relief forming layer 15 and a reflective layer 17 being sequentially laminated, and the release layer contains at least a thermoplastic resin having a glass transition temperature of 120-200°C and the relief forming layer comprises a cured matter of an ionizing radiation-curing resin.
