Abstract:
To provide a gas barrier material suitable for producing an organic electroluminescent device or the like which is thin, lightweight and shut off from environmental oxygen and moisture and its production process, and a method for mounting a gas barrier film using the gas barrier material and to provide an organic electroluminescent device.
The gas barrier material has a gas barrier layer on a substrate film which is characterized by having a release layer between the gas barrier layer and the substrate film.
