PURPOSE: To mold a faucet joint having the same dimensions as a die without inclining a half-drawn projection of a substance to be worked, by constituting so that a moving plate is depressed by preceding pin, and a lift plate descends to the lower part from the substance to be worked.
CONSTITUTION: When a press ram decends, a moving plate 21 of the tip of a preceding pin 20 overcomes the force of a spring 22, is depressed, and a lift plate 12 also descends. Subsequently, a substance 1 to be worked is depressed by a stripper 7, is positioned by a die pilot 11, a half-drawn projection is formed immediately before a bottom dead point, and becoms a ram bottom dead point state. The lift plate 12 is further depressed than the process length of a ram, which is required for forming the half-drawn projection previously by the preceding pin 20, therefore, when forming of the half-drawn projection is started, force of the spring 22 is not put on the substance 1 to be worked, and the substance 1 to be worked is not subjected to bending moment. Therefore, on the flange surface, the half-drawn projection is formed in a flat state, and a product of a faucet joint having the same dimensions as a die 10 is obtained.
