To provide a transfer sheet which shows excellent surface hardness after transfer or reliable transferability to a porous base material and has an adhesive layer which can be simply formed by a routine coating process and exhibits an outstanding retaining force, a flocculating force and hot tack properties and hardly generates its flocculation/breakdown, even when released under a heating state.
In the transfer sheet having a transfer layer 2 containing at least the adhesive layer 23 formed on a base material sheet 1, the adhesive layer 23 is composed of a mixed composition of a polyamide resin and a pyroxylin. The average molecular weight of the polyamide resin is preferably 5,000 to 10,000. According to necessity, a release layer 11 may be formed on a face, where the transfer layer 2 is formed, of the base material sheet 1 and a pattern layer 22, a protecting layer 21 and the like may be formed on the base material sheet 1 side of the adhesive layer 23 of the transfer layer 2.
