Abstract:
PURPOSE: To provide a transfer for vehicle which can avoid increase in the diameter of an input gear and restrain expansion of an input gear part in a transfer case so as to improve mountability on a vehicle.
CONSTITUTION: A transfer input shaft 18 into which a part of an engine power is put and a transfer output shaft 20 for putting out the power to the rear wheel side are provided. A transfer 5 for vehicle is constituted so that the put in power is put out to the rear wheel side with reducing the power according to the gear ratio between an input gear 18a of the input shaft 18 and an output gear 20a of the output shaft 20. In this case, an intermediate shaft 19 is arranged between the input shaft 18 and the output shaft 20 in parallel with both the shafts, and an intermediate gear 19a of the intermediate shaft 19 is engaged with the input gear 18a and the output gear 20a.
