Abstract:
To highly accumulate CoQ10 (ubiquinone 10) in the seeds of a plant.
The transgenic plant is provided by introducing an expression cassette having the promotor of a peptide elongation factor gene and a decaprenyl diphosphate synthase gene capable of expressing under the control of the above promotor, and accumulating the ubiquinone 10 in the seeds.
