The transition metal complex represented by formula (1) is provided (wherein, M is a transition metal atom of the group 4; A is an atom of the group 15; R1, R2, R3, R4, R5, R6, R7, R8 and R9 are each H, an alkyl, an aryl, an aralkyl, an alkoxy, an aryloxy, an aralkyloxy, a hydrocarbon- substituted silyl, or a 1-20C hydrocarbon-substituted amino group; X1 and X2 are identical or different from each other and are each H, a halogen atom, an alkyl, an alkoxy, an aryl, an aryloxy, an aralkyl, an aralkyloxy, a hydrocarbon-substituted silyl or a 1-20C hydrocarbon-substituted amino group; X1 and X2 or neighboring R1, R2, R3, R4, R5, R6, R7, R8 and R9 may form a bond to form a ring; and an olefin part comprising A, R8 and R9 may be a single isomer or a mixture of isomers).
