Abstract:
To provide a transmission capable of improving the degree of freedom in design of a dog protrusion part and a dog recess part, and reliability of the dog protrusion part, while suppressing increase in size of the transmission.SOLUTION: A transmission 10 includes: a first gear 21 relatively rotatable with a main shaft 11 and immobile in an axial direction; a second gear 22 constantly engaged with the first gear 21, and provided so as to be rotatable being constantly synchronized with a counter shaft 12 and immobile in the axial direction; and a slider 23 provided so as to be rotatable being constantly synchronized with the main shaft 11 and movable in the axial direction according to a shifting operation, and not performing power transmission directly with respect to the second gear 22. The first gear 21 includes a plurality of dog protrusion parts 25 protruding in the axial direction toward the slider 23. The slider 23 includes a dog recess part 26 engageable with at least one dog protrusion part 25 out of the plurality of dog protrusion parts 25. The plurality of dog protrusion parts 25 each have a step part 27 whose position of an axial direction end part is different in the axial direction.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
