To provide a transparent cleansing cosmetic exhibiting excellent functional properties, which has good water resistance, exhibits excellent cleansing effects even when a hand or a face is wet with water, and has very good water washability.

The transparent cleansing cosmetic includes the following components (1)-(5): (1) 1.0-20.0 wt.% of one or two or more selected from among glyceryl isostearate, glyceryl oleate, diglyceryl isostearate, and diglyceryl oleate; (2) 10.0-30.0 wt.% of polyoxyethylene glyceryl ether isostearate and/or polyoxyethylene glyceryl ether oleate; (3) 5.0-30.0 wt.% of a cyclic silicone; (4) 10.0-30.0 wt.% of a dihydric alcohol; and (5) 5.0-30.0 wt.% of water.
