Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a transparent insulation liquid composition which has a refractive index of about 1.5 close to that of glass and high insulation and stability and a touch panel which uses the composition as a constituent member and has high transmissivity.SOLUTION: A transparent insulation composition contains a compound(s) of formulae (Ia) to (Ik), where any H in the formulae may be substituted with a 1-5C alkyl group, F or Cl, which has a molecular weight of 120-400 and a melting point of 0°C or lower. A touch panel using the composition as a constituent member and a display element provided with the touch panel are also provided.
